I'm a Final Fantasy fan.... I have 6hs of the demo (DON'T FINISHED YET). I only gona say one thing: I'm waiting for 20 YEARS for a game like this.

I was just thinking this watching all the preview footage. It checks off all my boxes. Love the nuance of it being a serious, mature setting but it still seeming playful.

I still waiting on an Atlus game that is also heavy in sci-fi. Kinda like Persona meets Phantasy Star with just a tinge of Xenogears.

Soul Hackers is kind of like that. But instead of being like Space sci-fi its more like Blade Runner, near future, sci-fi. Over all the game wasn't great, but I like monster capture games in general so I enjoyed it.

The battle system is from smt, with the combo skills making it most like dds

Despite the FPS issues you noted, it looks and sounds great. I recently tried out Persona 4 golden which I'm looking forward to getting properly stuck into and thoroughly enjoyed Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (which is allegedly very like Persona) Sadly release date is awkward so I might have to grab a bit down the line. Thanks for the look in, I'll go.ive the demo a try!

You mentioned the terrible performance. I heard soon after the demo was released they made a big patch that significantly improved performance. I was actually playing the demo on my Steam Deck these past two days, and it ran really well.
