dear Chris, a wonderful video....i wnt to tell how i stumbled upon your channel, it was via watching, and loving the film, "Les Parfums"...and i was reading a review, which praised the film, BUT called out the director/screenwriter for attributing "J'adore" to Emannulle Devos's character as the creator of J'adore, when it was Calice Becker....hence the youtube search.....the film is wonderful, as is your passion for fragrance...i'm a new subscriber, be well my brother, neil....ps, i love MOST of Santa Maria Novella's list.....on a side note, in 1963, 3 years old, i'll never forget picking my fathers bottle of the PARIS "Canoe", opening it, smelling it, and put a small amount on my hands...i digress, again, thank you Chris

I'll forever know her for Neroli Portofino and so many from the By Kilian Line. In Luca Turin's latest YT lecture (spices), he mentions that Tommy Girl was the result of Calice trying to recreate the smell of the inside of a renowned tea shop. A truly superb perfumer.
