Does it cost more in terms of plaster? I can imagine it been triple in price per bag. Can this also be done on normal brick walls or just plasterboard? Great video

It’s only over boards, that gear looks like the ready mix joint compound tapers use for finishing joints. It air sets. Very similar to Artex that was used to stipple ceilings years ago.

Bags are around £15 and do 14m2 per 2 coats Its not a skim replacement its a next level up so it takes you to a new price bracket

Tell me if I’m wrong so a room is boarded, u tape it then and back put a second lay or filler on that then sand, spray one coat then flat then a second and flat Why not just skim it ?

Glad to see the uk getting spray machine 50 years behind everyone else but good on you.. I use to spray level 5 20 years ago its no longer done anymore people to cheap to want it .by the way you look like you have the wrong tip and you just cross hatch it there's no need to skim the wall.. and you can probably dilute the shit out of that looks to thick.. its basically tradeset and paint mixed together

Had a flood in my house and walls are getting put right back to the brick would you get traditional plaster or would you get it sheeted? Builders say sheeted but is that not just the cheap option ?

yes its cheaper and easier to level thats why the suggest boarding it up

Fantastic video really enjoyed watching it and to see the progression of plastering. How would spray plastering work for domestic jobs ? Can it go over other surfaces other than plasterboard as it seems to be a very thin product.

@@israeladesanya4596 You can clearly see it’s been taped: correct, my question was does he do it himself. At the end of the video he mention his tapers done it. I missed the end part of video, where he mentions that. So, he clearly didn’t tape it himself.

Thats a skimmers mindset issue ( i should know i used to be one!) Reframe sanding to perfecting as thats what your doing Using a product thats designed to be sanded combined with high level lighting and achieving next level results 👍

Thats a skimmers mindset , reframe that, your perfecting, taking it to a new level as its designed to sand. Using high powered lights to achieve a next level finish. Ive not skimmed in over 6 years now and my body thanks for it 👍

Id sand that out in few hours 180 grit job done

Just a posh tape and joint.. soft as shit marks so easy.. time it took to tape all them joints out and prep you could of skimmed it..

Waist of time & money. You have already fully taped it. (With a lamb chop by the looksof it) why not just sand the taping & paint it. Iv done hundreds if not in the thousands of houses/ commercials over the yrs. With mo issues. Having to sand complete wall too is crazy. I seen it yrs ago in aberdeen. Theory was 1 less coat of white paint. Reinventing the wheel.

Perfection lol. If the taping is anything to go by. Yous are not the boys too be learning folk how to make a mess of a job. Too many guy trying to set up training for diffrent trades. Get an apprenticeship 😊
