How lucky he is to own so much beautiful land. But, he deserves his success, he changed fashion for the better, forever. But, please, Mr. Lauren, stop using all those horrible synthetic fibers in your clothing, the fabrics used to be all high-quality, natural ones. No polyester linings, ever! I just won’t buy anything with them, my skin can’t take it. Plus, synthetic fibers are not eco-friendly or biodegradable, nor breathable, the rayon/viscose/lyocell family is all this, and is so much more comfortable to wear. It’s only a few pennies more per garment to manufacture, just raise the prices a little, even $10 or more! Thanks❤ I hope you’re reading this🙂

, Ralph Loren saved OLD MONEY from being totally gender neutral and totally without style. Preppies EVERYWHERE should wake up DAILY and light a candle to him...
@codycurnutte977810 ай бұрын
You have to respect Ralph. The guy knows how to live and understands balance. The city is cool for a season of life but if that’s all you ever see you are missing out on some of the best experiences in life. Same goes for living in the country. It’s good for most of the time but if it’s all you ever know you are disconnected and ignorant in the world. We all need to be well rounded, cultured, and just live life authentically. That’s the biggest thing that comes through Ralph’s design and approach to life. Authenticity. You can even see it in how he chooses to design and fill his home. He could have used all manufactured goods from his home line but he chose to learn about the area it’s history and build something authentic to the space.

I'm totally OK being disconnected from city life 😂 Nature teaches you far more than being in the city. I've met more ignorant city people than those who live rurally!

Just now looking at Ralph Lauren, seen him everywhere but never too much in my budget. I get inspiration on things from him though. I am learning to put what I like in my home, always been the odd person out. Never followed trends but have enjoyed other homes who have. So am enjoying watching all you tubes on him. I like his homes they are warm and comfortable and surround you with a welcoming style full of class and elegant but comfortable. My favorite is the blue guilt bedroom. Peace!

The peace and quiet is what interest me. I’ve just acquired the new book out titled,”Ralph Lauren, A Way of Living.” It’s quite a book and includes several pictures of his ranch. The scenery is lovely. A real place to get away. Carol from California

There’s no one else who would treasure, preserve and revere American Western culture as Ralph Lauren. He created live museums called RalphLauren homes . Impeccable taste, knowledge of history and ethnic peculiarities of the native tribes, their traditions and ethos make him a unique conduit to what AMERICA is. Bravo!!!

Well, you could even move into a cave for authenticity, but that, like this abode, would be entirely devoid of quintessential finesse, refinement, culture, polish, class and sophistication. Ralph Lauren's fashions are timeless and elegant, but his country house is raw, coarse, and devoid of all refinement and sophistication, and, frankly, quite unlivable. I would prefer British colonial mansions in Africa and the West Indies for sophisticated country living.

I’m from Cuba , I came here when I was 20 when I got my baby boy all I was dressing him it was PRL I just saw it soo cute and such a well dress boy in this brand. Later on my America husband told me about the brand. I’m 40 now and it’s my favorite brand. I’m saving everything that my kids grow out it for my grandkids. I know they’re all a timeless pieces. ❤

I would love to have a shower half that size! The tile looks like two different whites, perhaps it’s the lighting. I hope Mrs. Lauren has a walk-in closet for all her RL clothes! That’s the only thing I really want that I don’t have at home, a big clothing closet. There were no closets at all in my Victorian cottage, we did squeeze some narrow ones in here and there, but it’s just not enough storage space and is spread over three stories. I would love to have these other modern storage features, too: a coat/front hall closet, a linen closet or cupboard, and a closet for brooms, vacuum, etc. But, the house is just too tiny to add them. Oh, well, it has tons of character.

I’m really a dressy, city gal, but part of me longs for this lifestyle! We did have a wilderness cabin on 24 acres for years, but the 4.5-hour drive each way, every other weekend, began to exhaust us. All we did was drive up, work for three days non-stop, then drive home, already tired before the paying workweek. Our corporate city careers were demanding enough. I wish we could have hung on to it, but it was a financial drain, too. Alas!
