i always love horror game when the protagonist can't beat the antagonist, and only can hide or evade the attacks, such as outlast, alien : isolation or amnesia... It gives the thrilling sensation as we always remember that the antagonist is over powerful

Bad horror is usually excactly the fact you can kill the enemy. It just makes it less scary if you know you can just shoot them whit one shot and have them die

Yeah, but you can definitely go too far in the opposite direction where the player basically can't do anything. IMO, Alien: Isolation had a decent middle ground where the Xenomorph, if you didn't cheese it, became much more difficult after you started dying to it &, after a while, cabinets & such stopped working entirely. Even the flamethrower fails eventually, IIRC

The game would have promise if 1. You were only put in a cell a certain number of times before dying 2. The demon didn't limp away after being shot and instead teleported or something 3. Ammo was more scarce so you couldn't shoot off randomly and had to manage
