I only came across this a few days ago. I recently started watching Station 19 and Maya (Danielle Savre) was one of only two characters I instantly liked right off the bat and I heard Danielle had played in a few short films. Love the short film but my homeschooled self really wants to add something. I had an amazing childhood and by most adults I knew I was considered very mature for my age. I learned at my pace in my way. I spent plenty of time with other children and it was not a “death sentence” to me emotionally. I was homeschooled through middle school and I am now a senior at a public high school and have no problems interacting with anyone. I have great grades and play three sports and am the captain of the dance company. I also have a scholarship to run cross country in college. So no, my life wasn’t ruined by being homeschooled. I have adhd and learning at home in my younger years worked best for me to thrive later on.

Ohh, can I just ask how your parent(s) made it work for you? Like did you do artclasses or sports in the weekends or after lessons? Was that enough? I'm pro homeschooling and I used to hate school but I loved afterschool things like that, there was often such a warm atmosphere since you were surrounded by peers that all shared a passion for something, good vibes you know what I mean? Anyway, really cool to learn about your experience
