Thank you! I had to special order her from a place in Florida; the only time I ever found her. Unfortunately she was left behind in our move. I used her pollen on Lilian Austin and kept one baby for breeding.

Gorgeous collection, as always! The music was very relaxing, indeed, but would you hate me if I said how much I enjoyed your narration? Only because you give such personal descriptors and why you love each and every rose. I know that is extra work, so it's totally ok to tell me to take a flyin leap off Mt. Rainier!🤣 It was truly lovely zen music though, and I DID enjoy it! This is the second time I've seen your Duane's Delight, and I need it in my life. @@smedina146 thank you! I have two plants that are nearly identical Duane’s Delight. The first is not as cold hardy: it has survived, but doesn’t manage to grow and fill out, as it dies back each winter. It needs a less harsh environment to grow in. The second is doing well. I will probably test it to see if cuttings root easily or not.

Very nice! How do you like Bolero? Is it disease resistant?

It was for me when I grew it, even though I had rust, mildew and blackspot all goin g in the garden. Not sure how it will be with other strains in other locations though. The fragrance is absolutely intoxicating, as is the beauty.

It was an unlabeled rose in a garden I visited. I don’t think it was Carding Mill, but can’t remember the fragrance to be sure. Unfortunate, as I have always thought it was exquisite!
