Absolutely here for “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry” decks, just like a wry humour is so helpful for working through tricky realities for sure. Edit: I’m embarrassed to say I hadn’t clocked the duplicates in the oracle of the roses, it’s never cropped up in a reading for me but it’s super weird like you say, there are so many things they could’ve chosen, and looking at the book the meanings are subtly different, maybe we should rename them! My main gripe is the cardstock which is just excessively sturdy haha.

Whatever helps us get through the rough stuff, right? And yeah, that cardstock is so stiff it feels almost agressive, it's really hard on my hands! I didn't get around to checking out the duplicate entries in the guidebook yesterday, annoying to hear it's not really tackled. So odd! I'm glad you found those wee bits of info interesting. Always good to mix things up a bit from time to time, though I have to admit, I defaulted to my usual weekly reading this past Monday. Must do better next week!

Totally with you on the WU Archetypes deck. These cards really embody and store such big and powerful energies that it's one of maybe a handful of decks where I only pull one card and feel completely satisfied. Also totally tempted getting the mini one cause these cards are just a pain in the butt to shuffle. But then I'm not liking the idea of having a double.

I ordered the mini Archetypes deck today, I know what you mean about doubles but I guess you could alwatys get the mini and then get rid of the large version if need be. I just know this pocket version is going to be so cute, I can't wait!

@@lilpinkbear now the temptation is even higher. Probably what's going to happen is that it will find its way into my collection... especially when I see it in your hands. Also would love to hear from you how you feel about it in terms of if it really shuffles more easily and if you feel like the cards feel still as huge and powerful with the smaller size. Like does the cute mini size fit with the big energy...

Yay it always makes me so happy to see the Ostara tarot get some love, it is one of my most beloved decks! Though for me, regardless of its name, it's more of an autumn deck. The colouration feels very autumnal, and also I bought it in August (2022 maybe?) and spend the next couple of months working almost solely with just it, so there's that association now 😄😄

Oh that's lovely. And yeah, it does seem more autumnal, those gorgeous russets and burnt oranges throughout the deck really lend that tone to it. It sounds like you have built a lovely connection to the deck.
