John has a beautiful melodic style and is a world class composer and arranger as well.

One of the only players who justifies why he needs a 6 strings.

These are rare to come by. Thanks for uploading. Patitucci is a mad scientist on bass. Shout out to the jealous haters in the comment section ✌🏽

Bro, even Jesus himself couldn't please everybody. There's just some of those. For me the bottomline is, if you criticise someone's playing, you have to play better than them, otherwise what's the point of criticising someone who kicks your ass. I can bet all i have, not one hater here can do just a quarter of what Patitucci does. They must stop wasting valuable time typing nothing and go practise.

Brilliant job putting together all of John Patitucci's bass solos, such an amazing bassist and has been my favourite for well over 20 plus years, his playing for me is always the highlight of the show. 44:46 my all time favourite John Patitucci electric bass solo

The most complete electric bassist. I'm convinced. No tricks. Just technique serving the music. With a fantastic ear. Edit-Of course he's a top double bassist too. Such a great player.

Thx amazing, his live performance (your video start) at the Strand 1992 is unbelievable The Legend! Here the you tube collection of his most amazing solos live , John is unique because he have worked his own voice from saxophone players like Coltrane or Brecker or trumpet player or guitarist like Scofield. Immediatly we recognize him.
