Also Eris and Luke did not have kids in the normal timeline. While Luke liked Eris a lot, Eris never really let him touch her. It was a loveless marriage on her part. It was mentioned that she would punch him if he ever got too... touchy, with her.

That's not true Ostred said in the beginning she punched him everytime Luke tried to approach her but ended falling for him and they had a passionate relationship and Rudeus didn't like the topic while Ostred was telling him so Ostred didn't elaborate that much

The thing about Rudeus not being allowed to touch Eris's body in bed. Is not true. It's just she doesn't allow him to touch her basically at all. Outside of bedroom. That spawned this rumour. She even joked around when taking Lucie out during the Asuran coronation parade that she will not allow him to ride her on his shoulders because he had so enthusiasticly eaten her out in the previous night. And she was protecting their daughter. And Rudeus being little freak that he is even says he can't help himself as his daughter just looks so cute he just wants to eat her up. Like Was that comment really necessary mr. author san. I felt like I wanted to clean my eyes with bleach after reading that. The author constantly does stupid shit like this. Makes ecchi jokes with the characters even when the situation don't make a lick of sense. Like one time Eris got beaten in a duel really badly. She broke her arm and her leg and lay in the ground in pain. And Rudeus kneeled next to her to apply healing magic. And ERis says: Look If you perv around and touch me somewhere I don't like I'm gonna beat the shit out of you. Yeah: can't you just feel the love between these two characters. Lying broken on the ground and still have to throw threats of violence. This sounds like abusive relationship rather than a loving one. And the author just can't help himself because he wants to make ecchi or tsundere jokes instead of writing a normal scene.
