We did a colour run at our high school, and it was definitely a lot of fun. They ran out of colour on the last lap, so they started spraying us with the hose from the garden (it was the middle of summer, so the cold water was very welcome) which made all the colours blur together. Definitely the best event we ever had.

The reason why the cake looked like shit was because they used concentrated gel food colouring so most of the colours that would be blue or purple or any of the dark colours would show up as like black, what a shame, they could've done something really nice with that. Like instead of splashing with food colouring they could've used coloured white chocolate ganache.

The amazing color swirls we've seen them pull off with fondant and they go with this? If not, throw spatulas of icings. With the stellar reputation that bakery has, it would be a good rule-of-thumb that if it looks like something the client could have easily done themselves with a few tiered cakes, it doesn't get delivered.

The cake wasn't the prettiest, but it's harder then it looks to make a perfect cake besides it depends on the theme, so the cake isn't ugly the outside is just a little messy, but the theme makes it so that's the perfect decoration! Also, they had fun with it that's what matters!

Again, the people liked it and they had fun with it so that's what matters. Nothing bad happened and the people again they liked it so it's fine. I don't think my comment was rude at all. As a consumer, it's not bad to criticise a firm's product: in this case the cake. For people to say that they find the cake boring isn't at all rude, it's an opinion. Especially when you'd have high expectations for their execution. And I think what we do think matters, we're consumers after all. our 'thoughts'-preferences dictate their sales. So i believe every customer opinion is valuable- it's feedback that can help improve a product.
