I must admit, I was so jazzed to have this "assignment" that a few things slipped by me: - the fact that the instrumental is the same as Stupes' Two Point Hospital song "Doctor Doctor" - the Open Mike gag double meaning with Mike being a person's name, hense why it takes place in the autopsy lab - the various OTHER degree jokes around the obtuse one. Whoops. Thankfully, I made up for those missed marks by including an extra credit reaction at the end. Thanks Professor!

Two I haven't seen anyone notice so far: "[...]and Robinson's robotified" with the background character waving arms made of dryer vent duct is a reference to The Robot from the 1960s TV series Lost in Space. And also: Llewellin Mayhew Mat O'Grady Beaudelaire Phipping [Tim Mattheu] Witherspoon the fourth (He fell in) (a huge) (vat) (of gravy) (but they are) (fishing) (him out) (with a spoon) and (fork) The ENTIRE NAME. I think my favorite bit about the “Drake? Baked” joke is not just bc Drake is a chef, but their demeanor both in this bit and the big part where they’re all singing together (Drake bonks themselves on the head with their own rolling pin) seems to indicate they’re quite high. You know, “baked.”

Connors: Fossilized. Dr Curt Connors aka the guy who turned himself into a lizard/dinosaurian creature and became one of Spiderman's villains. Ustinov: Goofing off. Peter Ustinov was a British Actor and filmmaker, whom I first saw on The Muppet Show pretending to be an international robot diplomat amongst other hijinks. Robinson: Robotified. Lost in Space reference, the old rubbery arms and claws is the design of the original Robot. There's probably more, but those are the three I picked up on.

What I love most about Ian's reactions to both this and two point hospital is the losing his mind at all the puns and double meanings, pausing after every one with a hint of pain in his eyes, taking a moment to collect himself before commenting, and sometimes when no words come out it just becomes "PUNS" and I honestly think that's beautiful

Didn't see this mentioned yet: We in America usually just call it a "hose" instead of a "hosepipe" and would usually call a "hosepipe ban" a "watering ban". The joke being that no rain for three days is enough to cause drought and that people need to water their lawns in that time.

21:46 one of my favourite jokes(?) in this song (mainly because it’s one of the ones i caught and i feel very smart about it)- “Our methods are methodic and we’ve taught the tautological” “Tautological” iirc meaning redundant or describing itself- i.e. methods being methodic

A collection of some details I noticed that I haven't seen anyone else point out yet, because Stupendium has no chill and goes hard with the details. - as good as the "big on inclusivity" line is, the line before about "scheming for the Ministry" is probably a reference to their previous song No One's Home. - the background gag of a certificate for Certificate Forgery with a 1rd Award, which was also in Doctor! Doctor! - Same for Dr. David D. Davidson, who was in Doctor! Doctor! - "We've taught the tautoligical". Tautolology means to say something twice but with different words, such as saying different things with the same meaning.

Shame you didn't catch on to the incredible homophone in the final, egregiously long name in the attendance section! Every single part of the name rhymed, not just the surname. You're good at pausing! Its not something i considered a skill until i saw some reactors pausing mid sentence, mid word, starting it again and then randomly going back 10 seconds... It's incredibly discombobulating, and makes me feel like i'm having a brain aneurysm. You pause on the punctuation, and that makes it easy to follow. So i wanted to compliment you on that skill which often goes unnoticed until you see someone who doesn't have it.

"And a little dairy derring-do and you could win the gold!" Every great school (in America at least) loves its sports teams, but there's always at least one team in its Athletics Department that it's _particularly_ proud of, and the shiniest gem in Two Point U's athletic crown would appear to be its Cheeseball team, seen in action at 17:56 and 21:28. Only just got around to watching this, but I never actually listened to the end of the Two Point Campus one the day it dropped - I didn't catch the "That means you Ian" at the end until this. Lol! Their occassional references to you in their videos has become a fun thing to keep an eye out for. Onto the second song, I seriously feel the pale to lobster ratio issue though. I live in Florida, the sun is AWFUL here for so much of the summer. The second I walk outside I turn into a lobster myself, along with the rage of one. (No, really, you see those claws? Thats me when it's hot - it's miserable). Your reaction at the 'Fucked up' line was about the same as mine - Stupes? Cursing in their own song?? Who are they?? Favorite line though? "Fuck. Has anyone checked on Gran? She's alive but it melted her marzipan!" There's something too funny about hearing a person who rarely curses throwing out the f-bomb TWICE in a song. Anyway, great video as always! :)

Re: jokes being obvious, or knowing what the punchline is, I think something really important was glossed over: delivery! I find that the best comedians aren't the ones with original jokes and subversions of expectations, but the ones that can tell you a joke you've heard a thousand times and yet _still_ make you laugh. As for "knowing where it's going", I think my favorite example of this is Kevin Smith's story about the never-to-be movie "Superman Lives", where he takes 20 minutes talking about all the mismanagement behind "Superman Lives," and expertly builds to a punchline about "The Wild Wild West". Anyway, back to the video, needless to say that Stupes' delivery is always top notch.

... Was that a Shelter From The Storm reference? Wait, can't be, that came out in 2018, the year after British Summer Jam. So this is the source, instead.

Hearing you say you can relate to British summer because Chicago only has 3 months of summer made me laugh. The most common joke about summer I hear in England is that we get 1 week of summer before the rain comes back, like the 36 hours in the song. 3 months is a proper long summer to me 😂😂

There was a program here in the UK called the worst witch which was also a magical school made well before Hogwarts. Clowns are less scary once they ask you for university course advice that was a weird day.

I literally sent it directly to Stupes, tho. And I did so the day BEFORE it was on my Patreon so...yeah, wasn't late. 😅
