My work EDC for over 30 years was a 112 with nickel silver bolsters It was actually a 25th Anniversary model from 1989 I wasn't collecting back then or I woulda saved it and bought another for work But I didn't have a lot of money back then Oh well It's still a great knife and I used it pretty hard over the years

Wow that's awesome! I can't tell you how many knives I've had before I was into knives that I lost if left somewhere that I would love to have back!

The 112 is a Classic. I personally like the 110 drop point. That's my personal daily carry along with my Leatherman. But I do have 2 versions of the 112 in my collection.

@the_knights_edge I just want to tell you, you'll have an easier time with the sheath if you put the knife in butt side up. More of the knife will fit in to the sheath and snapping it closed will be easier. Also, when you use a traditional 110 or 112 enough, you can open it with one hand by holding on to the blade and flicking the handle downwards. Then just shimmy your hand down to the handle. It's funny. I was a modern knife guy, but since I turned 30, I really got into traditional style knives. I guess people get old and esentric.

I own a couple but like the 110 more than the 112 because of the size.

some things made in Mexico are good, certainly better than made in china. some highly coveted strat guitars come from Mexico.
