I cannot understand why people do not read or believe Ecclesiastes? All souls return to God who gave it until Judgement Day. It does not mean you will stay in heaven. Its only 12 short chapters. Revelations will happen.

Just because the bible has a couple of good points does not mean that it's to be taken seriously. The majority of the bible is absurd, and depicts a malicious, petty and ultimately lousy creator. God is far greater than the Bible depicts, learn to think for yourself finally and stop relying on a ridiculous old book for truth.

@motohead1106 With respect, you say that as if the Bible is one book written by one author, and not many books by many authors written over thousands of years. Not all the books are created equal. Do what you will, but I need the truth desperately, and I've found too much of the truth in there to toss it all out.

@@alexinwonderland6239 I didn't say that as if there is one author, that's all you. All I said is the bible is mostly absurd with a few gems of truth. Your logic that you shouldn't discard it because it has truth is the same logic that you should discard it entirely because it has nonsense contained within it. If you want to find the highest truth your search has to go within, stop relying on books written thousands of years ago.
