As you know, Leigh, in the UK, we don't have the right to self-defense. The government doesn't want those poor thieves to catch a real punishment. One must lay down and take it. Also, I like the pouch. It's on my list. Thank you.

The statutory basis for self-defense is found in: Criminal Law Act 1967 (Section 3) Allows the use of reasonable force to prevent crime or assist in the lawful arrest of offenders. Crime and Courts Act 2013 Provides additional protections for homeowners, allowing them to use disproportionate force (but not grossly disproportionate) in self-defense against intruders in their homes.

Amazing how much you can get into a pouch that size. Could add some paracetamol/Aspirin/etc. Good video again, Leigh!

Perhaps add a Sea to Summit Mosquito head net, a set of needles and a small roll of kevlar thread. I also have some titanium tent pegs (pin type) along with some fishing hooks and swivels etc to make some trotlines if needed. Some premade snares may be handy as well.

With more stores and services here in the states not accepting cash for payment, maybe a pre-paid debit or gift type card would be a good addition. For example, a tow truck driver may not be allowded to accept cash if your car broke down. Also, I have used that Olight for about a year now in my job as a construction project manager. Amazing tool.

Add P-51 can opener, knipex pliers, secondary knife, screwdrivers, cotton Handkerchief, and glow in the dark markers. Dump the multitool and chem light.

Great well thought out kit. Personally I would ditch the lock-knife with the U.K. knife laws being what they are.

Really nice pouch. I may be wrong but I believe that folding locking knife isnt legal to carry in the uk anymore?

Non locking sub 3" blade is fine, any locker or fixed blade, you need a good reason. Well one that a judge would agree on, like going camping.

@DL_2025_A Yep, you are correct,....I do wonder how many folk have got into deep trouble over having such on them/in a vehicle? It's obvious that Leigh isn't the type of person to be up to no good but how many cops would just advise, let him go?

@DL_2025_B Yeah, possibly. Like with the medical establishment, any good person left during the whole convid thing,.... people with morals etc just couldn't enforce tyranny on the common citizen.
