I hope the others start chipping in more :D We actually hit level 42 a couple of months ago with the Guild Hall Expansion upgrade. My goodness was that a slog, and it did not really add anything we did not already have access to (we used a pair of Portal decorations to have a route to the upper area of Lost Precipice) but it was still a very good feeling. Great video! I want to point out to fellow low level guilds that it is incredibly important that you start running Silverwastes regularly, because the guild needs a lot of shovels for mine upgrades (which you need to increase the Aetherium storage so you can upgrade the other stuff) and as a guild with few active contributors this is going to take a long time (unless you all already love running Silverwastes)!

Great video, but a little lacking. The main thing, imo: you recommend 9 ppl for the guild hall mission - can it be done by less, is it possible to solo it? And, after paying 100g + 150 favors, can you try the mission as many times you like, if you fail it?

We got it with 3 people :D my one friend who introduced med to the game who has played 2k+ hours, my other friend who hasn’t played that much but recently got to 80 on necro and has rare gear, and me who has played about 400hours with ranger and have a not so good build(except for making my first legendary(twilight) with the help of your guides😁), worked well and luckily the pof one was easier as we had no chance on the one in auric basin and had to use another 100gold :(

Thank you kindly for the guild invite. I noticed that F2P players can not use the guild tavern to get buffs (or the guild banks and many other things). As an aside, I would love to see you or another youtuber run GW2 as free to play to see how far they could get before quitting in frustration.

Free to play can use the heart of thorns guild halls for buffs I believe but not the pof/eod ones. I have a free to play account with max level characters, the bag space was annoying for a while but got through it.

@@MuklukKZbin I just asked Nathan the Bartender, (Bone Zone Gilded Hollow), and he told me that Heart of Thrones is required. Getting to 80 wasn't too bad (except for BLTP), getting further is a lot of paywalls. I am becoming convinced that legendaries will be near impossible.

@@CorwynGCGet the latest expansion. The vault system currently have 1 ascended weapon + 3 ascended armors for only 1800 points, which are piss easy to get. This set of rewards expires in 43 days, though - they'll still be there, but will cost more. Ascended are exacltly like legendaries, expect they're character bound (not account), and you can't keep on swapping the stats.

So, theoretically, you could have five guilds, each at different levels, and get crazy resources? Especially if they're all POF guilds? ...If that isn't linked to guild membership, and you avoid the guild miss that'd need more... It seems like you could just have two mad lads with a lot of time on their hands make five guilds by themselves and benefit a ton from it. I mean it'd definitely take a while, but it'd be really neat if pulled off.

The thing is that unlocking the synthesizers and upgrading them will require alot of resources, both for getting the synthesizers themselves but also for leveling up the guild itself, which will likely require both other upgrades and tons of guild missions to be completed. The fewer people you have making these upgrades the longer it will take and the more it will cost each player meaning it will also take much longer for it to start yielding a profit. Each gathering session even in a maxed out guild doesn't give that much by itself, it's still free daily loot with low effort and time investment but if you payed for it all by yourself it will take a incredibly long time before it starts giving a profit. Similarly if you max out your own homeinstance by yourself and you're the only one who's gathering from it on a daily basis, it can take years for it to start yielding a profit (and I believe the homeinstance gathering upgrades is cheaper compared to the guild halls). Most people are better of just joining existing guilds if they want access to those gathering nodes, as for creating your own guild with maybe a few friends, it's more about it being a fun thing to do and build together rather than the potential future profit of synthesizers (which again, the profit is very small each time but it's still free resources with low effort and time investment). Those are just my thoughts on it at least, of course any investment into gaining a source of infinite gathering will eventually yield profit but the time frame for that might be kinda crazy with only a few people upgrading and benefiting from it, guild upgrades are expensive.

Yeah, I have one real guild that I do wvw and pve stuff with, and four bank guilds that I've built up to be able to do the synthesizers from all five. The "real" guild has all of the upgrades completed. My #2 guild has everything but Synthesis Output 4 done, #3 has all of the synthesizer upgrades up to, but excluding, Synthesis Output 3 done, and so on, so that the last guild has just the upgrades before Synthesis Output one done. It does take a lot of resources to get them built up...I was making /selling legendaries to do that. I did it because I'm obsessive, and wanted a lot of guild bank space...

The big question regarding guilds is how to attract members who will not be total jerks. My guild has something about 5 active members, because they were people I knew and trusted or recommended by people I knew and trusted. Expanding beyond this modest beginning is... problematic.

Hey, Mukluk has a video on this. To train your crafting, it always takes 4 materials to make something. An axe for example, takes an axe head, a handle, an inscription, and a fourth material. The axe head and handle change material (copper, iron, steel, etc)(green wood, seasoned wood, elder wood, etc) as you make them better. Ascended stuff needs deldrimor steel and spiritwood. These are so called ascended crafting materials, and you need level 500 in a crafting discipline. For an axe you will need level 500 weaponsmithing. If you want a website to tell you everything you need to get level 500 weaponsmithing, go to these sites: (Level 1-400) gw2crafts.net/weaponcraft.html (Level 400-500) gw2crafts.net/weaponcraft_400.html For the fourth material, these vary depending on the rarity of the item. Just look up on with wiki which one you need. After you have 500 weaponsmithing, you need to decide what stats your weapon will have. This determines which inscription you need. If you want an ascended axe with viper stats for example, then you go look up "Viper inscription" on the wiki. Each ascended stat has a name associated with it, for Viper's stats, the name is Yassith. Also, they have a different name for the item, here axe=reaver. So you need to make Yassith's inscription. For that you need to buy the recepie, which you usually get from map currency vendors. You also need to buy the recepie for the reaver from a vendor, just look up which vendor on the wiki. To see a full list of all the materials needed for a Viper's ascended axe, go here: gw2efficiency.com/crafting/calculator/a~0!b~1!c~0!d~1-77122 Crafting is expensive and ascended gear is not necessary until the late game, but it is a very good goal to set. The crafting is intricate but it makes sense once you give it some practice. When you follow the 1-400 guide, try to notice the patterns in all the items you make, and things will be a lot more clear

Damage meters are third party apps - they are not disallowed, but Anet doesn't support them and can't help you if they damage your account (so be careful when selecting one). Arc DPS is a common one. I don't recall which one Muk uses.

i kinda knew that feeling until a few months ago. my first guild got betrayed by some of the leading staff (including theft from items out of the guild storage, and kicking everyone they could (basically everything except our leader) and then leaving the guild as well. It absolutely destroyed the trust of almost everyone that was previously in the guild, making it impossible to re-build it at all. all the leftover players decided to "fuse" with another guild, keeping their status, but in the end, the guild master decided to take a break from the guild, and never came back online. As a result, this guild also died. At least, i finally have found a guild, that keeps quite active (at least in chat)...

I play pvp a lot and I normally am I top player. However, 50% of my matches have afks on my team. I'm still trying to figure out how level up with forced afks on ur team -_-
