For your safety spiti had wrost hospital. In all himachal. There is no barear on high clif roads. And don't be racist. You say tibetan heaven. It becoming hell these days. There is mosquito since 2019 before ancient spitian haven't found such distinguish insect. Throwing all your used plastic everywhere. Our cows got murdered. With eating plastic. Safe spiti🙏

We planned to visit Spiti in 2018 ....went to Manali as per plan. But got stuck there due to the flood of September 2018... Sadly, had to cancel our Spit plan . However, we changed plans and went to Bir Biling (where I had my first ever paragliding experience) then to McLeodgunj. Enjoyed to the fullest, but have to visit Spiti ...it's a different world altogether !!

Haha reminds me of my Spiti trip in 2017 where a landslide made us change our route and we spent time enjoying Sangal valley/Chitkul..so stunning. I guess with mountains and Nature you just have to surrender.

You can reach Spiti all year round. Only thing is that Rohtang Pass s shut in winters-roughly Oct end-March. So if you decide to visit the valley then, in that case you will have to enter valley via Shimla-Kinnaur and retreat via the same route. Hope I was able to help. Dear Team Tripoto, There's no rafting in spiti valley. I do suggest your content write to check on this piece of information and may be if you can edit this part from your end. It could be misleading to certain segment of tourist who doesn't really put in much effort into their research about the place. And will travel to Spiti valley with rafting in their minds. Which would in turn lead to 'little' disappointment upon reaching there. Also, as travel content travel community it also doesn't give a really good impression about your 'facts' gathering/updates about a place. Love
