I can't wait to see this movie. I am a lifelong Dylan fan. In anticipation of the movie's opening, I have watched a number of reviews on KZbin. This was by far the most sensitive, in depth review of all the reviews I have watched. You must have worked very hard to produce such an interesting and compelling review. Thank you!

Great review-I cannot wait to see this movie! When I was 13 years old, "Like A Rolling Stone" was released, and it grabbed me immediately. All these years later, it's still my favorite Dylan song.

Tangled Up in Blue, an incredible song about love and loss. BTW, her name is pronounced Joan BYE-ez.

Wonderful review! My favorite song that best encapsulates Dylan’s world view and his poetic genius is found in the song, “It’s Alright Ma, I’m only Bleeding.” “My Back Pages” is a close second for that.

Im definitely gonna check that one out! Thanks for watching

This was lovely and very insightful--thank you! I hope Timothee C. wins the Oscar--he's a revelation. My favorite Dylan song at the moment is Hard Rain's Gonna Fall. :)

Good review. I’m a 45 year Dylan fan and said from the beginning I had hi hopes for the film as Chalamet is such a fine actor and I thought Dylan signing on as producer wouldn’t let it get too far afield. So glad u enjoyed the film.

I was already on-board for the obvious...but learning that Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash is an extra bonus. He's probably the #1 most underrated actors working right now.

I'm Not There was rushed and not done well at all. This film seems as though it may just come close to doing the Enigma known as Dylan real justice. Greatest songwriter ever thus far!

@@thewanderingscreen No problem, you’re not the only one that’s pronouncing her name that way. I feel really old. I guess I am really old. Joan is still around, occasionally singing. Amazing woman & ethereal voice. Check out Diamonds and Rust, the song that Joan composed about Bob Dylan.

I don’t think I want to see this movie because I know Dylan as I know myself and I don’t want to taint that. A few years younger than Zimmy and starting in 1965 I followed his explorations very closely and to this day. No one can convey him. I fear many people will be misled (by this movie) about his great depth.
@thewanderingscreen6 күн бұрын
I’m sure there’s a lot that the movie misses about Dylan, but if you do watch it I hope you get swept in it’s use of his songs and Chalamets performance
