My son is 10 and his school plays doubles there every week. Then one weekend a month they play a single tourney at other courses in the area. I wish other schools in the area started disc golf leagues so we could have more local events for kids.

We have a course in Maine at Sabbatus called the owl. It's a great 9 hole pitch and putt like this. And we even have a winter flex league under the lights :)

Fewell Park can be fun and there is a long format as well that is used with the short format by the local club for a 2-disc 18 hole league round.

Very true about rushing. When I rush a second shot it's me wanting to erase the mistake or poor shot. 1, you can't erase a shot. It happened. 2, you will throw a better shot taking your time. If I don't want to take my time I don't want to do better. I want to HAVE done better. I can't so the shot is always not really helpful in anything other than appeasing my ego. Thank you for the content and reminder of the importance of patience.

Speaking of "ace place" check out the new course they just built in Utica NY. It happens to be 1/2 mile from my house. The first 3 holes are totally aceable. The 4th hole is kinda tough but then the 5th hole is straight downhole and absolutely possible to ace. 6th hole not so much but then the 7th, 8th and 9th are possible. It's all par 3's and probably one of the easiest courses there is. Fun though!

Simon, next time your back in MI, you should check out Jake Simpson Memorial Park! Its not ~that~ far from MVP headquarters, 12 holes, cement teepads, MVP Portal baskets, on the shorter side but some technical wooded holes. Imo itd be PERFRCT for this style of video!
