I am from another country than you but today while I was making a sandwich for myself incl real butter and cheese I was thinking of all farmers and you hoof trimmers. I would not have had my delicious meal without your hard work. Thanks for taking care of these cows. My grandparents also had cows and they sold the milk for dairy industry but they gave up like 30 years ago due to their age and there is a picture of me standing next to the last cows my grandparents had.

@@impunitythebagpussI’m in 🇨🇦 as well….if I was a farmer here, I’d get into the dairy industry, 100%. It’s quite lucrative in Canada, not a lot of competition here. USA has been fighting us for years to be able to export their milk products into Canada, it was supposedly opened up to them under the last NAFTA (or whatever they renamed it) negotiations, but I’ve yet to see any USA milk on shelves in Ontario?

For those interested in that little riddle Graham presents to us near the end of the video at around 7:30. Don't think of it as a question, but a statement of facts. "What" has four letters, "Sometimes" has nine and "Never" has five.

It's good that Kevin is so alert. It wasn't too obvious how bad that claw was at first glance. Even you had your doubts until you got further into it. But as you have said on previous occasions, you are constantly reassessing the situation as you go along. Because as we see here, a lot of nasty problems can be hidden underneath dirt, muck, and detached layers of hoof horn.

Hello!! I hope I'm not being an annoying pest, but I think of many questions with every episode I watch. At 70 yrs old, I'm afraid I won't becoming a trimmer any time soon!😊 Any chance you might make a DVD(s) teaching all about cows, bulls, and hoof care? Trust me I could swamp your comments section with questions!!! But I mustn't be selfish and not leave room for anyone else! I would be happy to buy a DVD each month showing that month's vids(I'd have to do it that way because of my fixed income.) If my health issues wasn't so many I would try so very hard to make a trip to southwest Scotland. I would really like to meet Mrs. HGP and the rest of your family. You and your family are so lucky to have each other and living in some of the most beautiful country Thank you for listening to my ramblings.
