Beautiful, thank you! 😊 I have a lush, beautiful cymbidium that I bought over 7 years ago that has never re-bloomed and I had resigned myself to simply enjoying the foliage. It turns out I was doing a lot of things wrong. The first thing I'll need to do is to move it..hahaha!!

Thank you ... There are a few factors that you need to look at first . If the pseudobulbs are nice and plump then you can withhold water until full root set has taken place . Also depends on humidity and time of year you are repotting and the media you are potting them into . No stead fast rule , just be sure to allow for time for healing and not to overwater at this point or rot will set in easily . Sorry for the vague answer but it will never be the same answer for every circumstance . They generally can easily withstand withholding water for a month if the humidity is not to low or the temperatures too high .

I have a sarah jean ice cascade and while the plant has gotten huge in the last 3 years I haven't gotten a single bloom. I put it outside after the last frost date and take it inside before the first frost. Then in winter it's in a big south facing window.

If your temperatures indoors around your plant stay too constant it probably will not flower . Find a spot where it can get some colder evenings but without freezing .

@@thenaturecompany I live in a highrise apartment. Close to the window sill gets around 14C but the rest of the house is 22C. The balcony is -25C in winter for 2-3 months. Maybe I have to rehome this plant to someone with a garage. T_T

There are some Cymbidiums that like tropical conditions and some people are doing amazing jobs at hybridizing new one that will thrive and flower with little or no temperature changes and will grow in hot tropical environments 👍

Yes I have heard how good miracle grow is and because cymbidiums are heavy feeders they probably love being fed like that 💯💕

Preferisco usare il liquido poiché è più facile controllare la quantità, i pellet a rilascio lento possono essere rilasciati troppo velocemente o troppo lentamente a seconda dell'irrigazione, dell'umidità e della temperatura
