I wonder how the TrueStreak Confetti would interact with an anamorphic lens. That must be wild.

😆 good idea!

@ I can see a narrative use case for that. Imagine seeing the world through someone high on something. Or in a six-if movie like a weird pseudo-scientific physical effect in space in a Star Trek like narrative universe.

I think a modification of the filter design would make an actual decent streak filter

alright i might come back and delete this, maybe you'll mention it but you say Mullen is one of your fave online resources, i did a cursory search and couldn't find much (but a book, called cinematography, that i ordered) thx for the vid, man... i got a ton of Tilta circular filters when they were on sale, was gonna move to fixed ND's from Tilta's terrible mirage vnd, but then someone told me the Mirage Pro, which has an eND, is coming out next month... so i've been testing the circular ones, will probably send most back and opt for real deal 4x5's, too limiting not to be able to use the circular's on ultrawide focals.. they're just so expensive! saw a comment re the used mkt and im gonna need to browse around, i always buy lenses used and save so much money.. thx again, rly appreciate your work and your ethos, your honesty and transparency. it's refreshing

He doesnt have his own forum, but as you further your filter research you’ll come across his insights being shared on all the forums. Including the roger deakins website

It generally takes me a while to sub to a channel, and it's always something minor that pushes me to smash the button. Today it was the McCrank comment lol.
