Hi Grace. You did a really amazing job in learning Cantonese. Unfortunately, we don’t learn Cantonese systematically in Hong Kong. This may be the root of the obstacles that you encountered in finding resources to learn Cantonese. However, you have shown how impressive you are. It is absolutely grateful to find some non-Cantonese-native speakers to defend our language and our culture rather than destructing it like the government do. If you learn Cantonese further, you will find how beautiful Cantonese is by understanding and picturing the traditional poems. Keep on with your passion and you really did a wonderful job. I really appreciate that. Good luck on your languages learning journey. 你做得好好呀!

In my opinion, the biggest benefit of learning Cantonese or any other languages is that you can communicate with the local people more easily. The more language you can speak = the more people you can talk to Of course, you could just use a translator but it's not always accurate. And besides, if more people learn how to speak different languages, the languages will have a higher chance to survive. I think all the languages sound as beautiful as one another. Hopefully, all the languages can be passed to the next generation for years to come. Stay safe during Covid-19. God bless you all.
