What a kind comment, Gayle is quite wonderful 💕 I love her. Easy transition for me from scrapbooking for a couple of reasons. One, I had a lot of beautiful supplies at hand and second I used to make journals when I was in high schools hundred of years ago🤭 I have to admit we have better tools and supplies now. I really enjoy your interviews with other crafters. It inspires me to hear the journey of other crafters since I am so new to creating. I'm in my upper 50's - never was artistic - never had time to even try - but now am so inspired (but not talented). I feel like I've missed out waiting so long. And I have so much to learn. So happy to learn from you and your famously creative friends. I also love the retreats you attend. I wish I had friends that would be interested in doing something like this with me. Love your Vids Gayle... Always Inspirational... And often funny too. I was just wondering, you may have said and perhaps I missed it, but how do you find these retreats, or do you host them yourselves? I'm in my mid 50's and nearly all my life, have longed to have other artist/crafter-friends in my life to share creative time, but sadly it's never happened. The way you speak of these retreats, makes me hopeful that I just haven't been looking in the right places and that somehow they are magically all around me, waiting for me to discover them... 💜 Looks like a Lovely time. I do host them myself. I would encourage you to find classes in your area to perhaps meet some like minded friends. Craft stores sometimes have classes and our art museum in my town has classes too. I found the retreat house and then gathered some friends and put my retreat together. Hope that helps! ❤️

@@gayleagostinelli_ct Yes... ! It does help, Thank You. I will keep trying to find like minded people on my area. Would really love to have friends to Craft and make art with and I have a lovely garden and outdoor space to share and create with them, with an outdoor kitchen and a drying rack for dying paper and all. Hope to find "my people" soon!
