Good to see you put the stream interview on here. I absolutely love Griffith as both Sonic and Shadow. It's great to hear he's doing well and he was so hilarious when talking to you guys. The extra cheese bit still has me dying. Very funny. He will always be the best Sonic and Shadow to me. Still, to this day, I have a hard time matching that voice to his face. His normal voice I can believe, but his Sonic voice, especially around the Unleashed end of his time with the character, is just so far removed from his normal speaking voice that my mind just can't connect the two. Such a legend though. I love Roger's Sonic a lot, especially with him in Boom, but I don't think I'll ever be able to outgrow my love for Jason's version of Sonic. From the weird nerdy anime Sonic, through captain-obvious phase in 06, to Unleashed's pixar style rendition of Sonic. He'll always be my favourite.

J Griff is my FAVORITE voice actor of all time. I would love to meet him one day. Thank god he talked about the Werehog a little. But Sonic Rush got me into Sonic and though there weren’t many lines for him to say in that game, he did a fantastic job on it. I grew up with J Griff voicing Sonic and co. and his quotes go deep in my memories

For anyone who doesn’t know and is looking at the comments of this ancient video, the line before Sonic’s “We’re heading to the ARK, so I guess that means we’re going, too!” Is Sonic saying, “The Black Arms are headed into space.” By going to the ARK, Sonic is indeed going to the same place as the Black Arms, that being space. Thus, the line makes sense.

"to be honest i remember the- the sound booth,, that i recorded in. and uhhh.. i remem- oh yes, ok, so i do remember one thing but it has nothing to do with the game and it has to do with me recording. um, the director at the time, um, i think she was new to this particular sort of directing, but, um, back then- you know, i just- really- started out so, 'guess i was a little more self conscious about what i was doing. but um, y'know, when youre in the sound booth they click the 'talk back', and you can hear them, and then when they click it off you DONT hear them. which is, you know.. because youre in a sound-proof room. and i just remember, uhh, y'know when i record i move around a lot, i use my hands, and its just, y'know, the way that, like.. i think make the sound a little, um, sound a little realer, yknow, more exciting. and uh, i had done the take and the director forgot to,, turn off the talk back and she said to everyone in the room "oh my GOD look at that little dance he does everytime he does a line!!" i was SO friggin embarrassed.. like, and- and i didnt say anything and i didnt make them, y'know i didnt let them know that i heard but at the time i shamed myself. SO, so i think i went about 5 more lines or 5 more cues where i didnt do anything, and i just realized it wasnt working for me, so i went back to the dance, im like: y'know what, screw it, i dont care,, who says what. im gonna dance around cuz- this- im sonic god damn it." -jason griffith 2016 this will always be my favourite part.
