I was there in Acton Town Hall, they played 2 sessions back to back, the first one Quakers bassline was coming out of boxes bouncing off the floor and hitting you in the chest and i was standing in the middle of the dance floor, Coxsone came second and Fatman had power issues. The 2nd dance the following week Fatman I believe was using his TT21 valve power amplifier and the bass was making you blink you couldn't control your eyelids Lincoln aka Volcano express agreed with me and he was at the back of the stage the tune was young Rebel johnny clarke. Coxsone came second and Quaker had power issues like Fatman did the previous week they still played just the bass power wasn't firing on all cylinders. Great sessions!🎵🎼🎶🔊🔉💯

I grew up on Quaker City, in birmingham. ❤ The one question i have, is he related to gladdy wax, of Leisure Sound?
