A Copland Tribute (Copland/adapt. Grundman) - MCB, July 10, 2016

American composer-conductor Aaron Copland (1900-1990) is considered one of the great composers of the 20th Century. His melodies are highly recognizable and wildly popular, as he was one of the earliest composers of large Hollywood movie music in the 1930s and 1940s. MCB Artistic Director/Conductor Jeremy Kondrat conducts this compilation of Copland melodies as arranged by popular composer-arranger Clare Grundman. (Trumpet soloist: David Halper)
