That was enchanting from beginning to end, so it's impossible to decide what I liked most, thought the training of the trees in the Kitchen Garden against the wall and over arches was something else! And oh dear, I so want some home-grown mushrooms for breakfast now!!!

Aren’t they amazing? I want to grow my own mushrooms too! I didn’t realise how many spores they let out before 😅I knew they did but didn’t think till now, so I’m going to try and grow some outside think!

@@HerCountryLiving , my fiance had an idea that we were going to grow our own mushrooms a while ago. I thought it would be fiddly and dangerous, besides, you have to find a dark place like a cellar apparently, and that's few and far between in South Africa. Being a former trained nursing sister, I am also quite scared of poisoning! But I found this idea, in plastic bags it looks, so it's more controlled, truly fascinating. Maybe Jason will get his wish... I made him watch this video with me this morning, and he actually loved it!

@@pamelaschutz1248you can do them in boxes too! I got one for my mother in law for a Christmas gift one year and they were really fun 🤩. I may buy them again this year. 🍄🟫 🍄 😊
