My papa (grandfather) passed away a few days ago and I've just been feeling so hollow and broken on the inside. He was one of the kindest, most generous souls, and I learnt to love books because of him. I loved him dearly. Thank you so much for providing a much needed distraction from real life, you are so appreciated ❤️

I'm also reading "the girl who drank the moon" and it really reminded me of that emily dickinson poem- "Hope is this thing with feathers, that perchers on the soul, and sings a tune without the words and never stops at all."

Tolstoy is one author I am trying to really delve deeply. Dostoevsky is next in my list to read. But to be truthful these Russian guys demand our full attention. Thanks to be an encouragement on this Russian journey.

hello, emma! I'm honestly so happy to see your channel grow so much. You deserve only good things in your life. Thank you so much for making life a lot more bearable, and for motivating me to keep doing my best. Also, I'm very glad you're enjoying banana yoshimoto. I love her writing so much and the way she writes about girls and life and family and relationships.

Hi Emma. Watching this VLOG improved my day. I hope you're properly managing your health. I'm so impressed with your recent engineering spurt (the bookshelves, the chair, and ofc the computer) - kudos! Also, the balance in your reading is reassuring, tho tbh I guess I did expect to see something about your uni class this semester, as well as your strategy for the Summer and beyond. Thx again bc it's always good to see you.

Apparently if you take a leaf from a feverfew plant and eat it with some bread (carbohydrate), it can work. This was mentioned by Dr Chris Searl or Hearl on British TV show Good Morning, so not an old wives tale.

Hey, Emma! How are you doing? Haven’t commented for a while and I’m so excited with how fast you’re growing on this corner of the internet! Hooray! Anyways, I’m writing to recommend you a book. As I heard you speak of “the girl who drank the moon” it reminded me of “the strange and beautiful sorrows of Ava lavender”. It was my first five star book of the year and the audiobook is amazing. It’s so poetic! I think you’d love i!
