Oh lordy you guys need a chaperone! Haha! OK, you're never allowed to check a bag again! ALWAYS carry on only! Usually when you stay at an Airbnb, you can directly message your host with any questions (if they're a decent host!). If that woman who let you in was your host, she's terrible! They should take you to your apartment and show you around, how things work, etc. I hope you leave all this in your review on the Airbnb site! That will help the next people anyway. xx

Hiya, I went to Stobo Castle Spa for my 50th birthday with my friend for some spa treatments and we stayed in the Cashmere room and all the lights was connected to a pad on the wall.I had no idea how to use it ,so, it was just as well that my friend managed to figure it out or we would have been in the dark a long time.If I remember correctly I think it was also used to switch the tv on as well. Give me the good old remote control. x

Oh gosh, we have done Airbnb once before in Iceland and got shown round, we have booked one for 2 weeks in Victoria BC ,going in just under 2 weeks and will be there in the daytime and will get shown around again.
