And here it is!... "Hallo, Feyre darling!"❤❤❤😂... but is not only this iconic scene... i love the part when Feyre cuts Hart off saying he doesn't know Rhys when he thinks he's afraid of Tamlin! 😂 She's apathetic and depressed, but when it comes to Rhys, there's a spark!😉 Thank you for bringing the story to life with your reading!❤

Feyra is truly tiring in this book. I don't wanna belittle her traumatic experience but 2 murders for saving so many other lives is fair...she had to do what she had to do, I wish she could understand that. Moreover, what is her issue in being a lady of the court? It's an important supporting role for her "true love" and he has all the right arguments to be overprotective the way he is. I can also understand her wish to be involved and help the people but she is not acting smart at all. Just let time pass and heal the wounds? Do it little by little. In the 1st book her stubborness helped and got her somewhere but now it only tangles up the situation and makes it more problematic. And it's truly frustrating how up until now she did EVERYTHING for "her high lord" for Tamlin who was supposed to be her everything and supposedly she sacrificed so much, hoping she would get forever with him...Now she has this "forever" and it's not what she wants anymore? This instability of her character is frustrating... And what, she will leave Tamlin for Rhys? :)) Great dude, love his energy, but..if this will turn into a love story, it just feels very twisted...

Literally. I saw someone call Feyre "feral". Feral how?? Her hobby is PAINTING 😭💀 and she's still shaken up by deaths that needed to happen, despite the fact that she killed a fairy already since the beginning of book 1 And why's she so pressed that people in the fairy village don't need her help? Feyre just isn't defined enough, so I can't care less about her apparently feeling "stifled" living like a billionaire CEO. They aren't forcing her to bear Tamiln's children or anything, now THAT wouldve been good conflict. The life Feyre's living sounds like a good life already, staying in a mansion and taking time to pursue her "passion", which is supposed to be painting SJM just likes Rhysand more, and that's why she has to force Feyre to be unhappy with Tamlin 💀

@@sheila19954 I can understand why she hates that she killed those two fairies. If she had come up with the answer to the riddle sooner they would still be alive. I would blame myself too for something like that. They did not need to die. It's how it happened but it wasn't needed if she had gotten the riddle before that trial.

Her inner dialogue of her grappling with her conscience over killing the two people in the trials is a bit on the nose, given that it wasnt really a decision at all. Its the train cart dilemma of "will you kill 2 people now or thousands later". Its like the writer is spending an extraordinary amount of time trying to convince the reader of the protagonists virtue.
@codypendency94825 ай бұрын
There is something haunting about it tho imagine the only way you can save everyone you care about is by killing 2 innocent people by hand with a knife. That would mess anyone up for a while. I do find a lot of the writing on the nose tho so I don’t disagree with you
@sheila1995422 күн бұрын
@codypendency9482 feyre is barely a character, though. So I don't find it believable 😭 Plus she killed an innocent fairy at the beginning of book 1 and seems to not even remember that. So it's not even consistent 😭

Tamlin isn’t right for Feyre. She’s quite literally feral … she needs a man that matches her untamed self I feel like when it comes to Tamlin it’s all about him… yet Rhysand gives her space to be her own person this is my first fantasy series and I’m trying to get better at analyzing lol 😊

It's also my first read-through and I can agree right now, Tamlin seems very toxic and distant and controlling/possessive. I'm getting the ick from him in these first books, but I'm sure there's a reason for why he is written like this.

Now I understand why people dislike Tamlin 😅 he's so selfish, he cares about his court and title and power more than he cares about Feyre. And he doesn't give her the freedom to be herself.
@sheila1995422 күн бұрын
What is Feyre being "herself", tho? She's barely defined as a character. All we know about her is that she likes to paint and she feels guilty about killing those two fairies at the end of the last book She doesn't even love hunting. She only hunted because she was obligated to
