The ick factor is that we see her as a little girl, and he’s already grown. For me, it’s a hell no. However , he doesn’t have any thoughts toward her until she’s an adult, they are not related, he financed and dictated, but did not raise her. The story is not romantic. The guy is a psycho , who punishes an innocent girl , and ends up falling for her. Neither one knows what love is. They are codependent of the toxic relationship created by the ML.

All this is true, although one would hope that he learned something by interacting with other people and has knowledge of forgiveness, innocence and that children are not responsible for the wrong doings of their elders (& that the people that think so are hateful, manipulators and criminals). Even God gave his son, Jesus Christ, for the hereditary sins of all people. When a God doesn’t belief in the sake of hereditary sins, one can be sure that children deserve a fresh start in life. But I guess that is not how it works in other parts of the world, with a caste system or extreme forms of patriarchy. I have a notion that underneath it all a darker practice is taking place, besides the need for revenge, and that this an unhealthy obsession and (sexual) GROOMING.

Ya, that was a disgusting factor for me too. She was a little girl under his care. She was 8 yesrs old. Then what grossed me out was when he asked her if she will be 18 in 2 weeks. Seems he was lusting after her from when she was a child thats why he told her not to call him brother. Also, who takes an innocent child to use as tool in your revenge? She lost her parents and through no fault of hers. This is a sick, psychotic plot. This is worst than human trafficking or the same. He bought that child and tied her to him psychologically just to use her first to torture, then rape. Yes, i say rape because she really had no choices against him. Did the script writers have her lose her virginity to a peer so that what the ML did to her would be swept under the rug? This drama is wrong on so many levels. This drama belongs on the dark net.

Spoiler alert! I watched it to the end. I am a fan of both actress and actor. This script is a classic in its repertoire within Chinese drama. So, maybe it is a MUST do for the film company. As expected the actor who played the ML tried to handle it classy as much as the script allowed, and the same can be said of the actress playing the FL. I’m sad that the FL comes out of her martyrdom so late, after she gets nearly killed & loses their baby. This loss and the notion that her father might be innocent. Finally she has the anger to fight back the injustice in her life. I surely wish she had started sooner. She should have insisted to check the DNA of their baby. I love how she becomes more reckless and starts to fight her killer, her boss and seeks the confrontation with the ML at home. She isn’t stupid, she has the arguments to fight him. I’m also sad that she ends up in the hospital the second time around, but I am glad her friend can yell the truth to the ML. He doesn’t deserve her. After that his walls crumble fast (also cause it is the end of the series, of course). Still, I wish the FL would have fought back sooner, the actor who plays the ML likes to play classy, gentleman types, so probably her life as FL would have been better next to him. It looks like an open ending, maybe to give a notion that a joined search for the truth & justice for her father and the death of their parents will make their relationship more redeemable.

I finally get it. Abuse = love, torture = desire. They beat you because they are madly in love with you, but if you are happy, you are betraying their love. Never trust your wife, trust your “little sister” as she whispers lies about your wife. If the wife has a brief conversation with a guy, she’s automatically pregnant with his child. Serait-il possible de nous mettre la suite ou au moins de donner le nom de cette série ? Beaucoup critiquent le choix de l'acteur principal mais je pense qu'il s'agit d'une vue simpliste de son rôle. Il y a tous les codes du drama obligatoires mais la relation entre les deux protagonistes ne se limite pas à une relation sadique. Il y a beaucoup de non-dits, de malentendus, de jalousie etc entre les deux protagonistes. L'acteur a fait un très bon choix en acceptant ce personnage car il a cette capacité d'être d'une froideur physique avec une voix masculine si basse. Que ce soit dans les dramas ou les comédies, sa façon de parler arrive à transmettre les émotions qu'il souhaite. Donc le nom, svp, en anglais de préférence. Il est difficile de faire le lien entre votre écriture si riche et notre alphabet. Merci d'avance.

I don't know where to place this one exactly. Obviously the male lead was crazy about the female lead and very jealous. He worried about her high School crush because he had come back to probably marry her since she was almost 18. Although he did not physically abused her he sure emotionally abused her sometimes. All he really needed was to show some warmth. I especially did not like the fact that the bad girl got away with murder of the child. And that the male lead said he was protecting her. Why? But thank goodness there was no excessive slapping in it, nor kidnapping nor almost rape scene. I get so tired of these. And I'm glad that her best friend immediately realized it was her boyfriend trying to get the female lead and it wasn't the female lead's fault. But once again male lead doesn't listen to any explanations. Just takes it for granted that she's wrong. Although it had a sweet ending it was really frustrating that nothing was really cleared up between them. Did he finally realize that the child was his? Did he finally realize nothing had happened between her and the other guy? Just high school crushes? Did he ever explain to her that he didn't have any relations with that woman, although it look like a good come pretty close at one time in the bar? It was all for show? He didn't even say he was sorry in the end for anything. Just a flip that all of a sudden he's sweet to her and their together and he promises not to see the bad girl anymore which would still indicate that he had been unfaithful. These writers watch Gilda too much and believe everything can be forgiving without saying I'm sorry. Too bad it didn't end with a pregnancy though.

好愛這男女主角... 但。。。不得不說，不論看多少次同樣的劇本，不同人演，演技都挺好！問題只出在劇本真的太有問題，每個演這劇的男女主都演挺好，就是劇本誇張。虐了十多年，最後還不驗證小孩，認為孩子是野種。即使孩子被害死，還護著！？看似不愛綠茶女，但男主對其處處包容及袒護的綠茶女....這渣男再有錢，說虐久生情....最後幾分鐘草草說是太愛妳，才如此傷妳的屁話。女主看似身心受損嚴重，卻還可以立馬貼心回應及親吻，也是誇張到翻白眼。。。 編劇太需要自己親臨，試問有多少人可以！此生不見，狠狠報復讓渣男渣女後悔，才是正常人想做的。（忍不住，不論看哪優質男女主演這劇，都想欠揍的回應這蝦劇本！）

很羨慕女主有個這麼好這麼貼心善良的閨密。不過閨密怎麼會找個男朋友是無腦家二百五! 男主這控制欲是種精神疾病 ! 也是一個報復心重，心胸狹窄，又不成熟的男人! 女主從小一直在罪惡感裡成長，又一直被洗腦，懦弱沒自信，男主就是個魔王；不是有工作? 連點看醫生的錢都沒有!😮‍💨 這種情況下的孕婦，流產後沒有憂鬱症還真是奇怪了! 明明下雪天氣一定很冷，演員們都不怕冷的樣子! 是剪接問題嗎? 怎麼吵完架進了醫院，一覺醒來，女主突然就不生氣了? 感覺好像漏了一段!

A disturbing dark storyline which has been done before but this one is the better of the two I think. A 'softer' version than the other which is really dark and has a different ending. Two very skilled actors in the lead roles which bring the story to life. Not for everyone. Editing is a little 'meh' with those annoying episode breaks every couple of minutes. Must have been made originally as a web drama with very short eps. So that repetitiveness does get annoying.
