MY THEORY!!! Hahaha. I know you might see comments that has theories that says Eunha(1st girl in the window with the pink curtain) died. NO! It's a big NO!. SHE DIDN'T DIE. Time For The Moon Night is about missing somebody just like Spring Day of BTS. It's about the reaction of a person or what a person does when he/she losses or misses somebody. Each girl in the video is experiencing sadness of missing each of their loved ones. >UMJI (the girl with the paper plane) - SHE MISSES HER MOTHER. All of us experienced being a child. We experience playing on bars (where Umji is sitting), play paper planes and we always have wounds during our childhood years (the bandages on her knees). You will also see in one of the paper planes that is written "I Love Mommy". That's why Umji is not that really sad on the video cause she's just a kid that misses her mom. >SINB (the one on the highway) - STILL WAITING. Waiting for that person to pass/come. >YUJU (red hair with the flowers and box) - VISITING A GRAVE. People who lost somebody always bring flowers on the grave or sometimes bring the most priced possession of the dead and some what we do after funerals that we fly balloons. That's what Yuju did. She visited her loved one and brought the box of the dead person, fly those pink balloons. >SOWON (she's the one in the bridge and also elevator) - WENT TO PLACES THE PERSON HAS BEEN - We people always go to the place where we shared memories with that certain person. Sowon went to the bridge. >YERIN (with the cassette tape) - DEPRESSION. When we miss/lose somebody we are always depressed. We always feel lonely. We always want to be alone. We always cry. Always looking at the stuff of the person (opens the box and played the cassette tape). That's why Sowon is like telling her you have your friends, you have me. Don't be sad. Sowon kisses Yerin's forehead and touches her lips to form a smile. >EUNHA (a jar with fish) - LOST/NOT IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND. Why? We people sometimes are not in the right mind. We always think far because we got hurt, we lost/misses somebody. Eunha is not in the right state of mind. She's just looking at the jar of fish. She locks herself in the room where SinB found her. When they were playing she was also left behind in the room (the room full of lamps) cause she's not in the right mind. When the girls found her and point their flashlights to her, she's like she's not herself. In the end the girls hug her to make her feel that all of them are there for her. >ALL IN ALL. The message of the song is right. The very 1st line that Eunha said "The shimmering starlight shines, but you, where are you looking at? I think you'll be gone soon." If we keep on being depressed/sad, we'll end up being gone, or go crazy or die. That's why it's Time For The Moon Night. Time to let go and be happy because you still have FRIENDS beside you. And for me the story was taken from the movie COLLATERAL BEAUTY. As the saying in the movie says "Just make sure you notice the collateral beauty". P.S. As for Eunha looking back? Many said there will be a repackage. The story is not finished buddies!!!

the best theory ive watched/read so far is that they all gonna die, in order eunha>sinb>sowon>yuju>umji>yerin. eunha being first to die no doubt, sinb walking alone the road (wearing black) to go to other world then meets eunha, sowon saying goodbye to others kissing them closing eyes on elevator(giving up), yuju visiting sowons grave letting go the balloons leaving things behind (yuju and sowon are close and always next to each other), umji sending letters to others then finally jumping off the bars leaving then yerin being emotional coz noone comforts her anymore leaving her alone then finally they meet each other at the open field where yerin (wears black to confirm she was the last one).

I’ve read a theory that Eunha here is already dead. Everyone mourns, Yuju visited a grave, Yerin is remembering Eunha through a recording device, Umji flies paper planes to send Eunha messages and it was flown by the wind after that scene (meaning Eunha got them). And every night is the only time they can summon her. They assemble lamps to call her. On the last part where SinB tries to find her in a room, it seems weird. The group tries to find Eunha on the fields (or maybe her graveyard, the same place Yuju visited). When they put the flashlight on it, it flashes on Eunha’s face. Clearly, she’s dead. And they were able to summon her on the room but they weren’t there because they were on the field. Next is when they hugged Eunha and she seems off because she doesn’t see them. She feels weird because she felt something around her. I think this theory I read somewhere is closer and more legit than the bullying part. Eunha can also be seen wearing black most of the time. On the last part of the mv, she blends with the darkness that looks like she’s not there.

Maybe it's not bullying. Maybe, the members are being playful because they don't over think. Maybe she's afraid of losing them like she did with the one she lost before. SinB might be worried in the scene where she looks for Eunha. Remember that she has a cold expression that is often misunderstood. Because the bullying doesn't make sense with the lyrics. the bullying theory is a bit out of place, the press said in the MV that GFriend is better when together and in all of their MVs it's shown their friendship, the bullying theory doesn't fit the lyrics, it's about missing someone or something and friends being there for each other (and that would still fit with the theory of one of them dead and others dealing with it, both sides imagining things to cope with it better). HERES MY THEORY: I have a little theory after I watched it a hundred billion times. I think Eunha is dead and the members are missing Eunha & Eunha also misses the members. Thats why umji throw a paper airplane so that she can communicate to eunha (in the heaven). Yuju, put some beside flowers in the rock to visit Eunha and I think it is Eunha's grave? But the part about Yerin this is what I think: If we are using the theory where most of you say that Eunha is died , the tape that Yerin listen to says "2006.03 Family Trip" that can also represent that she's missing Eunha too. Remember in Love Whisper they used the same tape too? They listened to the tape in the mv. And if you remember , Yerin was recording everything in the whole mv of Love Whisper , and you can think that Yerin is listening to the tape that is full of memory with Eunha (in Love Whisper you can see how the girls are playing so happily) Because the girls are living together in an abandoned aparentment , you can say that they're already like a family and that's why the tape are named "Family Trip" This is just my thoughts :)

My Theories: They're all stuck in the past but they help each other move on. Yuju: Someone she loved died and she's mourning until she lets go of the balloons. Umji: Something about her parents. They may have died so she's sending airplanes. (Maybe they died while she was young that's why she's kinda naive to send paper planes to the heavens) Eunha: Separation Anxiety? It may be triggered by some trauma. Maybe she's afraid of being alone. Usually, schizophrenic people would be in comatose when in "their own world" and would feel extremely confused about reality and would often forget huge chuncks of what happened after the incident thay triggered them to "escape" to their own world. The title, time for the moonlight, somehow represents that theory. They were only able to meet when its time for the moonlight. First of all i know that artworks a re open to interpretation and there's the argument that no interpretation can be outright right or wrong. But the idea that a girl group who's career depends on the support they get from the public are playing around with a concept about a girl being harassed or bullied by her other members seem a little too farfetched, if anything, it kinda makes less sense than the eunha died and her emotionless state shows that theory. Your theory is good but if i use your storyline theory to make my own theory maybe it could be a little weird but lemme try😂 My theory:you said that this is the story about a group of an orphans...but they cpuld be a siblings cuz when sowon kiss eunha (maybe) it doesn't look like they were friends but they were siblings....and maybe it could be sowon was the oldest and eunha was the youngest...and the last part that you said eunha were getting bullied, maybe it's true vuz she's getting bullied by her own older sisters...and she tried to leave but failed...that's a nice theory i though...
