You know why we love mrs w's recipes so much? I keep watching my tomatoes and peppers for ages, waiting for them to get ripe and once they do everything else in the garden is also ready to be harvested. So, after a long day in the garden you are overwhelmed by the glut and easy recipes that make the most of your little treasures are extremely valueable, thank you so much for that

Looking forward to your new videos. I am a keen follower of yours after my transplant you inspired me to get back into my garden and do what I could to embrace my new life. Today I harvested kale leaves I cut the stems out and dried the leaves in an air fryer turning the kale into powder like a herb. My Mrs W doesn’t like leaf kale but it’s full of iron so it’s going in my stews and bolognaise in a form she won’t even notice- . keep up the great work, from Sheffield with thanks Pete

You really have inspired me, its our second year growing and after having quite a good first year, this year really didnt go to plan our tomatoes didnt grow, cucumber plants died and then our garden flooded and I was ready to give up when I came across one of your videos and I love the way you break things down, it makes it really understandable for someone like me with very little experience. The reason I got into gardening is because I started caring for my disabled brother and he loves gardening so much, something we can do together. I just felt like I had no clue what I was doing but after watching several of your videos we've got a shed and greenhouse on the way and Ive made a garden plan, oh and ive got 60 hedge plants on the way for my front garden. I expect next year our garden will look very different. I absolutely love the recipes too, Ive promised my brother next year we are going to make his very own jam - Hes really excited about that :) Thanks for all you do, it really is appreciated :)

Hi Barry & Mrs W. Ooh, what a fabulous idea for your channel. I am so excited. Can't wait for it. I lov Mrs\ W's recipes- so easy to follow and great to know what to do with the crop once harvested. Talking of harvest, I find some 'newbies' are uncertain when to crop their produce so maybe that could be included within the vlog? Apologies if you'd already planned to include this too. I grew aubergines for the first time, this year, inover 50 years of growing. Wasn't sure when to harvest so even us oldies can learn, too. I have picked them anyway as a slug had tucked into one of them and I didn't want the others to have the same fate. Happy gardening 🙂PS. I love your channel as you grow no dig, like me, but more than that I truly appreciate, that as big as your channel is, and growing, that you still find time to answer the comments. That makes it feel like you are true friends and that we are appreciated. Thank you 🙂

Love the videos and the inclusion of cooking, preserving the harvest. Two years into having an allotment and cannot believe the satisfaction and general tonic it is to everyday life. If you could cover the galvanized raised beds it would be appreciated, the benefits of using them and also various types and colours. Do they help prevent slugs, do they achieve better results, are there good and bad ones etc. Also, I love the fact that you are producing more videos recently. Thanks and keep up the good work

I’m hoping with the new system I will be able to grow more different plants and do them well. With my autism I do need things explained more then more and I’ve tried to follow you this years on when to sow stuff but haven’t always kept up with it or someone things gone wrong or not known how much water to give and so they haven’t done as well as could have. And then there’s when to harvest lol. It’s not an easy thing this gardening lol But I love it. And may not have had lots but have had potatoes, peas, beens, yellow squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, raddish, strawberries, raspberries, a few blackberries on the new plant last year, and we have planted Brussels sprouts, kale, cabbages, broccoli and cauliflower for over winter and into spring.don’t know if I done them right but hoping so.

It really is a great thing to grow your own food. I've heard the nutritional content of most store bought food is way down because of new agricultural practice even when you but fresh organic in some cases. So you're doing a reak service to people by inspiring them to garden. On a side note, the last sowing of my winter density romain germinated well which I'm pleased with. I really want to see how that holds up over the winter in my zone. I just have to keep the slugs and other pests off of it now.

It's that weird time of the year when you have to kiss your hard work goodbye for the summer. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend, watching what was prosperous going into old age. Much as I like change, it's still sad watching your plants come to an end considering all the hard work and nurturing we all do, from a seedling to the final plant. I still can't get over our short growing season in the UK. If only it wasn't that little bit warmer where we could over winter en-mass our plants.
