I used to be so imaginative and always making things. It didn't matter if the thing went anywhere or was the best ever, I just enjoyed making and exploring. I lost it somewhere around 20 or 21. I'm 28 now and just starting to get some of that curiosity and need to create back but suddenly it comes with so much guilt and shame. This is isn't good, no one will like this, I'm not doing anything right, I don't deserve good things etc etc etc. But that phrase "stop self-censoring yourself" really struck me. It's not about being good at what I'm doing or how my stuff compares to others, it's about freeing myself and allowing myself that space to learn and create. Believing that my own inner world and ideas are worth exploring. Sorry for such a long comment, this video meant a lot and came at just the right time. Thank you for this, I've saved it and know I'll come back to it often.

Green Renaissance videos always remind all of us how to enjoy our life. Most of us nowadays seem to forget how to live interesting and meaningful. Most of the time, we worry about our lives. Making money and work spend a lot of time. I am so lucky that I still keep doing my favorite things. I don't want my life is not meaningful until I'll regret it in the end. There is a man on Scheveningen beach in the Netherlands who makes children excited to clean nature, by letting them imagine as if they were a pirate in a video game collecting trash as treasure. Giving out rewards according to the amount they found. It is called Trashure Hunt, he has a website and social media under that name. Funny enough most participants are adults, especially men holding bachelor parties. 😊🥰
