Thank you! I've asked all my stylists to cut it dry. Had a stylist cut mine wet and I had 7inch taken off because of this (Unwanted & unneeded) The person was not used to cutting hair texture like mine and argued that, the hair needed to be wet.

I find it when you properly shampoo conditioner blow dry it out fully straight then you can cut clearly and then you'll rent and brings back the curl that's when you want a real nice even cut 🎉

No because the curl patterns are different all around the head. You cut dry so that you’ll know how that part of the hair will lay when it’s dry.

I don’t understand why stylist pull the clump of hair to cut it. For me, every inch cut, equals to 4 1/2”. I never have I had someone cut my hair in curly state because of this. It’s hard enough to get someone to actually cut an inch in it’s straight state. lol

Meh, I think I prefer the traditional technique. How can the stylist see what areas need to be trimmed if it's not stretched? I have kinky hair, and notice I see the truth when my hair is stretched. When it's not stretched, it can look healthy. When it's stretched, that's when you can see the see through areas and know what needs to be cut.

😮 that's the worst haircutting skills I've ever seen... hair style may look good but her hair has become totally uneven.
