This video was so helpful. I'm new to hobonichi and plan to start using one in 2025. I'm sorry you messed up your tracker but I didn't even notice that the days of the week were down the side so now I know to look for it when I go to set up mine. Also, I love those skinny pens you're using and plan to buy some of those. I love the bold colors. I've also been concerned about not having enough notes pages and your idea of a companion notebook is a great idea. This was a very helpful video despite the little mistakes. I look forward to watching more of your videos!

Oh I’m so glad you found this helpful! As far as the note pages, I used to get label printer paper and print a grid on it that I made on Word or Pages, print and stick it over the pages in the back. I used something similar to this paper amzn.to/4ftR6p4. Now I'm tempted to do that again but instead of printing a grid, just make horizontal lines.

This is a very realistic setup and attitude towards setting up. I can relate! Thank you for sharing!

Just use the red column the way you have it and color in the day of the week block, nbd!

I need to journal through peri!!!!! Yikes! I just purchased my first hobonichi cousin and I’m losing it lol, need a planner even if just to get major crap off my brain but not sure how to best put together yet. I do adore this tracker idea for the yearly thing, I think I’m going to try that! I’ve been in a whole identity crisis for real! lol!! Time to get better

I’ve been finding that just writing anything helps restructure my thoughts. Adding stickers and washi tape is cathartic but writing is what helps me feel in control. Even when we were in the thick of it with newborn life and appointments, just writing down plans helped reduce my mental load… of course I never stuck to them 😂

I am definitely making it a point in 2025 just to express and brain dump and to reflect! I need to make sure to look at my planner each day to help my routine because I will be writing this year, always checked the digital crap but I was obsessing and I already feel a load off with preparation for the hobo. I am rough drafting my year at a glance with some tracker ideas. Meaningful ones that will be good to look back on and see things

Do the dot markers or the style fit pens bleed through??
@spicystephzАй бұрын
The pens have a bit of ghosting but they don’t bleed through on this type of paper. As far as the markers, when I wrote “mood” there was slight bleeding where I pushed harder. However “recipes” only had ghosting. I think the key to bleed through is the amount of pressure applied.

I couldn’t see the link for the metal tabs you mentioned? Do you have the information still? Thank you!

Oh yes, thank you! I have only ever found them on JetPens. I also put this link in the description. www.jetpens.com/Midori-Chiratto-Index-Clip-Silver/pd/27535
