I can see why the head girl is the head girl, the confidence is crazy, she literally commands respect. This was fun to watch, as a Nigerian, I’m applauding the Ghanaian education system, the kids are so smart to add.

During my PhD program in the US, my advisor used to tell me that I am arrogant mostly after a meeting, and I will always feel bad because I thought he was killing the confidence in me. However, after watching the exchange programs for Vanessa and Thelma have been able to encode the rationale behind his comment. Both ladies showed a great level of sureness in their approach to their exploratory activities, but the tone and the body language of Thelma may have convinced people to describe her as arrogant. Nevertheless, both students did extremely well in their respective tasks. Bravo!

My time in Ahantaman girls, we held elections and it was fun! We had carte bags and don’t know what changed. I liked how the HRM received Thelma, very eloquent! I kinda understand Thelma cos considering the fact that she’s in an equally competitive girls’ school. In all I miss ahgiss and God bless the brain behind all this. Bringing memories back in the days!

The minds of these girls play the major role here. When Vanessa went to Porters, she saw that they acted according to their standard and even more than she knew. But clearly Thelma realized it wasn't the same as Ahantaman. So she had to question some things. So in their minds, where they placed the other schools and what they saw, reflects on how they actually felt. about it

The exploratory nature of these exchanges is a great initiative..Moving forward ..I will propose that the exchanges should elicit..critical thinking from students...Debates should be encouraged..students should be exposed through these exchanges to some intractable problems...students should therefore challenge the status quo...students should be inquisitive enough to analyse conversations.. observations, benign statements from their peers...students ought to be able to say ..wait a minute..my colleague or peer said this..or made a statement.. this should be challenged critically...to expose some the flaws in what has been said or observed...I believe the student body will benefit tremendously... Altogether a great initiative

I love how the HRM of the school Carrie’s herself and overshadowed the Porter girls student with her confidence. Thelma came with some preconceived notion that she’s probably coming from a better school than theirs and it showed in how she was looking out for things to criticize, her energy and time in her interactions. I’m all I loved the reverse version, the Ahantaman girl rep in Porters. Also I loved how she was received and sent to her class which wasn’t done in Porters for the other girl. Kudos to the teaM!

What Thelma meant was to keep the dining table in its clean state as you came to meet it when you're done eating... For instance, the fact that Zoomlion workers are paid to keep our surroundings clean doesn't mean we just have to litter around. Just place the waste in the waste bin because that's the best practice ! I mean these are basic sanitation practices one must adhere to irrespective of the fact that you've employed someone to be doing that exclusively.

When you watched Vanessa’s video, did you hear that much noise?? She’s not criticizing. She’s just seeing new things that she feels aren’t supposed to be seen. Cos it’s time to go back to class. I loved everything about the video, the visit, the reception all of it.. but Thelma was a bit too cocky, sorry. She just tried to question everything instead of doing what "romans do in rome" by just following their custom and not try to argue. Vanessa just went to porters and did what the Porterrians did without trying to argue. she could have also argued that all those long things at assembly wasted their study time and she could have also condemned the fact that they dont sell outside food but she was just quiet and learnt, but Thelma just wanted to be "right throughout. I like the headgirl's calm approach. But anyways Thelma is beautiful and I like her confidence, very impressive..................... Someone tell her I said Hi, lol

Venessa was so lovely and opened minded. She was so sweet and was not there to show that her school was better than porters. Great job Venessa, you made it so interesting and amazing to watch. How I wish all students who will go for the exchange program learn from Venessa.

@@dr.p2175 it’s interesting how I’m seeing you commenting on every comment that praises Thelma. I wish you’d be chill and appreciate the little girl than downgrade her confidence. Vanessa was good and it’s not bad commending her but don’t downgrade Thelma in your attempt to do so. You are doing exactly what you are accusing her for. COMPARISON!
