This is something of my childhood, I loved this as a kid. Sometimes my family and I watched this the night before we'd go to Disneyland, or whenever we wanted, but right before we'd go to Disneyland was more special. Now as an adult, I cry when watching this, liquid nostalgia, I guess. Thank you for posting this. :')

Our goal is to bring real entertainment, true talents, pure originality and diversity, old school, and more back into the public mainstream, starting with the 1980s. I love the classic spiel of the Jungle Cruise Skipper and how Goofy was doing the punchlines. They still do variations of that today, and I do the punchlines along with the Skipper. Right around this time, or maybe a couple years later when they opened Indiana Jones, is when I would have liked to have visited Disneyland. Most of the classic stuff was still around - Peoplemover, Country Bears, Fort Wilderness, Swiss Family Treehouse, original Pirates of the Caribbean, Submarine Voyage - and it had just gotten most of its really good new stuff.

While it would be cool if Disneyland created a new, up to date version of this, what you have to understand is that this VHS souvenir met a specific need at a specific time. Back in the 80s and 90s, this was the only way to have a video memory of your visit, unless you owned a handheld camcorder and you went to the trouble of recording one yourself. Nowadays, Disney diehards record their own high quality videos of the parks and post them all over KZbin for anyone in the world to see. For Disneyland to create and sell their own video souvenir would be redundant at this point.
@peterzimmer98012 жыл бұрын
To be honest, there are some Disneyland vloggers who create beautiful content at the parks and the quality is a product of that. I mean, some of them pour their hearts into the content and I think the general subscribers feed off of that positivity. But I can really see your logic/point. It would be super cool to see an updated version of this in 2022. I just don’t know who would purchase the video at Disneyland (or stream it on disney+) if you can watch those videos on KZbin now. Media and film has evolved since the 90’s. Some good and some bad. But I can say that the vloggers I have followed…created special content on their KZbin channel and they all had some different. So good points.👍🏻

Continuing...... He soon realized that the one who had called him in was Walt Disney himself. Disney happened to be a loyal fan of Jack and his work. He even realized that since this British invasion was going on. Jazz Artists didn't have much work so Walt offered Jack a job as one of the Royal Street Bachelors. Jack took the offer and rolled with it for years until he retired in the 80s. He past away Dec 27, 2000.

Probably didn't want to pay for the licensing fees to use the original audio or they didn't have access to the original audio. But then they splurged on the budget when they added Fantasmic! and used all of the real show audio. The revised MK video also used Spectro-Magic's soundtrack too.
