A Day at DreamWorks Water Park and Nickelodeon Universe | FAMILY VLOG 2023

It's 2023 and that means it's time to ride roller coasters! We've been ITCHING to get away somewhere and decided to take a quick trip out to American Dream to visit the DreamWorks Water Park and Nickelodeon Universe.
The last time we were at Nickelodeon Universe was literally 2 weeks before the pandemic shut the world down. American Dream was still very new and very empty.
Fast forward 3 years and while Nickelodeon Universe is still the same - everything else has changed! The DreamWorks Water Park is now open (it's the largest indoor water park in North America!) and the mall has completely filled in. We were SHOCKED at how many people were just at the mall shopping, eating, and hanging out! It truly is a hopping place (at least, on a Saturday evening!)
We started our day in the water park, and then after a few hours we moved over into Nickelodeon Universe. The kids had a BLAST - the water park was so much fun! We got to ride our first roller coasters of 2023 and the kids got to meet the PAW Patrol!
It was a long, but wonderful day - the perfect way to kickstart our 2023 roller coaster riding season! So many more fun things to come!

LOVE the video I BADLY wanna go to Dreamworks I been to American Dream Mall it's HUGE I been to Nickelodeon Universe it's HUGE unfortunately I haven't been to Dreamworks Waterpark and I am a BIG fan of Dreamworks movies since those movies are classics like I wanna go to Dreamworks Waterpark with a friend of mine I only seen pictures except when I see it in person I bet it will be HUGE

I didn't think Shellraiser was rough at all in the back row, but lots of folks seem to disagree. It's a pricey park, but my 5 year old loved it! Fun vid. Cute family!

The first time I road Shellraiser, I had an amazing ride! I thought it was fantastic! This time was a totally different story though :( Everyone rides roller coasters differently though - depending on how tall you are & how the restraints fit you - people can sit right next to each other & have completely different experiences on coasters!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Carlstadt-At The Meadowlands - we've stayed at A LOT of hotels & this one was TRULY one of the best! The breakfast was literally the best hotel breakfast we've had - the staff was VERY active in keeping it hot & fresh & clean & they had these huge super fresh donuts every day that were just to die for!! We didn't rent a cabana - we just brought "the minimum" into the water park & stashed everything in our stroller! (We carried our phones in waterproof pouches - but left our clothes, shoes, towels, etc. in our stroller and on chairs close to our stroller.)
