Beautiful Welsh countryside even in the foul weather, looks like the shooting, good food, refreshments and comradeship certainly made up for it. Excellent Dave !!!!

Tough shooting and filming in truly tricky weather on that day Dave. Still and all it was a really beautiful venue with superb countryside and the luncheon looked like one from a 5 star restaurant. Oh, and I'm sure that the one you missed was just because you were shooting at him to make him fly higher and wider! Thanks for this one, take care and best regards as always, Ed.

thanks Ed - almost tornado conditions not good for getting birds over the guns. but they did a great job in trying and in some parts succeeding👌

@@DaveCarrieShooting Hello mate , Tbh I've never really seen the point of 28 bore other than just having a 28 bore , nothing wrong with it but why not just have the 20 bore with the 28 gram load with a shorter shot collum, plus being able to go heavier if need be , and yes very alive and extremely opinionated 🤣🤣🤜 Bore 🇬🇧 gauge is so 🇺🇸

I won with Tweedl to shoot at the Upperwood Estate + 1 guest and was a day I’d only ever dream of. Got to meet sam & Evie, and some great people out in the field, alongside some great hospitality and outstanding pheasants & partridge. A great cause that’s run by Sam ! We’ll worth a go with any competition that Tweedl run 👍 also great video . @davecarrieshooting

Why is it always uk folk that win these competition’s?? When they are supposed to be open to the world 🌍 it’s like put all the uk 🇬🇧 entries in one Barrel and all the other non uk in another… I’ve supported a lot of uk charities and raffles over the years ( not that I was ever going to win ) Draw night comes around and surprise surprise out pops another uk winner….

@@DaveCarrieShooting no but fortunately you filmed it! How can you shoot crossers to your right with 3 other guns to your right who would have some of those birds straight over them?
@DaveCarrieShooting2 жыл бұрын
@@andrewbranton1476 hi Andrew Which drives ? as I am back gun on two of them!! I shot one dead crossing me on the first drive another on that drive hit in front then finished off behind in between me and next gun, one long crosser that was up the front hit by my first barrel in then vanished so I don’t know about that one, but I only had about 20 shots on that drive as the weather was gale force and most birds impossible!! some birds will always look contentious when filming especially in tornado weather like this, but you are welcome to come and stand with me if you want it’s nice to have a bit of company and you can always make your own mind up first hand!! I think It’s great that someone is being so studious. Best DC
@andrewbranton14762 жыл бұрын
Dave. I’m talking about the first drive.You drew peg six so to your right must be either five or seven depending which way you’re pegged out. You’ve shot four stonkers in a row over the trees starting at about 2.43 on the video. I can’t see how they wouldn’t be straight over the head of the gun to your right?? However fair play to you for responding positively and maybe I am wrong/ deceived by the camera angle ? Sure I’ll stand with you. It would be fun. Best wishes Andrew
@DaveCarrieShooting2 жыл бұрын
@@andrewbranton1476 Ah Ah - that’s why it’s better to be there Andrew- on the first drive end two guns 8 and9 are not in line but pushed right up the hill at the side of the wood to intercept birds on wind !! Me and 7 are like end guns in line - birds are being carried out too far up the hill in front and lots streaming past me too far away sometimes but heading towards 7 who were in the thick of it, to be fair I sometimes shot at birds favouring their line but only if they were very busy !! Which was always 👍
