A Day at Shanghai University of Sport | August '19

I’m watching this while currently locked down in Shanghai. I enjoyed the snapshot of a different time, as you said in the description. It really hasn’t been that long, but it seems like a lifetime ago. Some of my MMA students trained and taught at the Shanghai University of Sport. They invited me to train with them in those same rooms you showed in the video. Good times.

@@RebeccaChinn Thank you. My family is doing okay right now because we have a decent food storage, but a lot of people here aren’t so fortunate right now. I never visited the dorms, just the practice rooms/gymnasiums for training. Cool channel by the way!

I actually have no idea *why*, but there are always old people out dancing in the evenings 😂 or doing miscellaneous exercises - walking, taiji, tennis... Especially at night. 🤷‍♀️

LOL! You notice my bizarre food habits 😂 I actually would sometimes take eggs from the cafeteria to make sure I got enough protein throughout the day. Also yes, the washing machines were super unreliable. Plus if you hand wash + dry every day, you only need 1-2 sets of clothes 😂 great for traveling light
