52:11. That is literally the best view ever of the "If You Had Wings" loading area after it got its quickie makeover into "If You Could Fly" when Eastern's sponsorship expired on June 1. For the first time a clear view of how the "Departure" board had just been painted over in addition to the Eastern jet being removed from the globe. I'm glad I never was on this version because the song "If You Had Wings" was the heart and soul of the ride. "Dreamflight" ended up being an okay successor.

Great footage! That was such a great park back then. I don't enjoy anything about the Magic Kingdom anymore orher than remembering what it once was. Sad.

Amazes me how sparse the crowds were. There could be many factors: flights were too expensive in the 80s, lack of information such as internet/social media prevented people from all over the country and world to consider disney world a vacation option? I'm not sure but I believe the late 80's were the worst times for the park.

It certainly cost a lot to visit, but of course that has only gotten worse.

As a former cast member crowds depenended on time of year time of day between labor day and veterans day less guests
