This is why Valentino Rossi is a legend. Fame and money never were his main fuel; his passion, his enthusiasm drive him. He battles his opponents with every weapon he's got, he's blown so many fatal shots but he always acknowledged great opponents. I find after his retirement from motog that he's lifted the burden of the armor or the mask you got to wear in such a sport which is so tough on your mind and he finally enjoys the company of the men who he once battled. Casey was for sure one of the fiercest, so different in riding style and mannerism. It's great to see you guys playing together and I can picture you telling stories in front of an honest pitch of Lambrusco. Thank you for sharing and for bringing together such a great group of people 💛

Bellissimo vederli insieme divertirsi.... E pensare che Valentino Rossi ebbe l'idea di realizzare quelle piste al ranch proprio per recuperare il gap tecnico che pativa nei confronti di piloti come Stoner che sin da bambino avevano affinato la loro sensibilità su piste sterrate...... Sono sicuro che con questo gesto Valentino abbia voluto tributare a Casey un suo particolare tributo di stima.... Due talenti assoluti, due mostri unici a modo loro.... A volte rimango stupito da come si possa gioire per le felicità altrui senza provare la benché minima invidia. Non mi capita spesso; è forse per questo che provo stupore. Non ho mai tifato Stoner perchè per me c'era solo Vale...anche nei momenti bui. Però quando è andato via dalla moto gp mi è dispiaciuto tantissimo perchè il suo estremo talento e sportività sono innegabili e non ho mai trovato un pretesto per criticarlo. Vederlo al ranch a divertirsi con Vale e tutto il gruppo dei patacca,è stato meraviglioso. Grazie Rossi,grazie Stoner.

Io ho la sensazione che Stoner sia l'unico avversario che Rossi ha reputato realmente come un suo pari, forse l'unico contro cui è stato costretto a dare sempre il meglio di sé, probabilmente quello che ha temuto di più. Immagino cosa sarebbe potuto essere se Rossi fosse rimasto in Yamaha quando Casey è passato in Honda.
