In europe there's no respiratory therapist everything is done by the nurses, they document directly in the nurses notes whatever interventions made

Lovely video... I'd love to work as a nurse in Germany. I'm an undergraduate nursing student (BSc(Hons) in Nursing) in Srilanka. Currently, I'm in my final year. After my graduation, I'm planning to migrate to Germany. So can I become a nurse in Germany? Can you give some information about what are the requirements to become a nurse in Germany for graduate nurses?

First thing you need is German language minimum till B1 or B2 would be better. After that choose a state of Germany where you want to work then search for Recognition authority in this particular state and apply for Recognition from Srilanka directly. After 3-months you will get a letter that says either to give exam or attend extra course in Germany. Then come to Germany for course and work at the same time as a nurse assistant and get paid. In USA, CRRT is strict 1:1 ratio. And we have RTs so we don't need to do the nebulizer tx, change vent filters/tubing, or do abg. You're amazing to manage all of this yourself. 😳

Hello, how many patients do you have on one shift ? In Georgian Republic, one nurse takes care to 4,5,6 patients on the shift.

It depends upon which hospital you are working. Hospital where I work we have nurse patient ratio in morning and evening shift 1:2-3 and in Night Shift 1:3-4
