A Day in Joriwon (Korean Postpartum Care Center) 산후조리원 일상

I wanted to share our experience this time at a Korean postpartum care center. This is my second time staying at one. This one was much more affordable ($1,500~2,000 range) in comparison to the one I went to last time ($3,000~4,000 range). It was a different experience but I really enjoyed it! Especially the chance to sleep and the amazing lactation consultant!

Seaweed soup is good for blood circulation that is why they give that. Seaweed had lots of iron.

She's soooo sweet. I can tell now that she is going to be Daddy's little princess....she's trying so hard to talk to him with her eyes. I bet Hayden is counting down the days when Mom, Dad, and beautiful little Haena is going to be home.

Thanks for sharing. I really wish I had somewhere like this to go here in the US when my kids were born. It looks like such a nice way to transition. Thankful that you can see your sweet boy again and still continuing to pray that you can see the rest of your family in Canada. My best.

Wow that's amazing! There is no such thing in the USA, at least I've never heard of one. We get kicked out of the hospital and sent home within one day of giving birth, and there is no place to go to where the mothers can recover and get rest and support after giving birth. It's no wonder the infant mortality rate in the USA is almost 5x as high as it is in South Korea. You are so lucky to be there. It seems like a really wonderful place to raise a family.
