heyy im a fellow malaysian looking into transferring to australia for pharmacy too. it would be amazing if you could answers some questions i have considering theres not much info about studying in australia for pharmacy from the actual students themselves 1) did you work part time while studying for your degree and could you give a rough estimate on the hourly rate 2) is there any discrimination towards international students particularly malaysians when seeking for a part time job or internship 3) how are your living conditions (type of accommodations, price) 4) what is an estimate pay for the paid internship for the final year sorry if most of these questions are a little sensitive as they’re money related but as you also know its quite expensive to study abroad especially as a malaysian due to the conversion rates

Hello :) Is pharmacy a good career in australia in terms of wages, working hours and work loads?

I would say it is an above-average career. The pay is not bad for a fresh grad but would not increase too much throughout the career. Working hours are fixed, it's like a 9-5 job if you are working in the community but it can be stressful at work dealing with customers and sudden influx of customers into the store.
