@@slayerop8759 depends on where you would like to do and which program. Overall the experience would be more valuable than the degree

Do you need to be qualified in building n construction before getting job as project manager in that area

There is not a hard line or any specific qualification needed to step into the industry, which I believe the experience is more important than the qualification. But something like degree in construction management, project management, or PMP, Prince2 could be quite useful to understand the principles.

Thanks for your message, I am not sure anything I could help but the only thing I can say is if you have experience it won't be too difficult to secure a PM job in New Zealand.

@@jedzheng Hi Jed, thank you so much for answering my question and leaving me a comment. Yes, I have more than 15 years of experience as a project engineer, but I have no idea how to manage projects in New Zealand, but I suppose that if they follow the guidelines of a PMP you should be the same as here in Europe.
