Hey! I am thinking of applying ED to Duke, into Pratt Engineering and minoring in Dance. Could you maybe do a video on pros and cons of Duke? Also, do you take Duke-run dance classes at school? I want to minor in dance, but I'm kind of weird in that my flexible side is my right side, but I'm a left turner. At my studio, everyone trains on the right, so it was very hard for me to dance on competition teams since my right turns weren't as strong. Do you know the level of difficulty for a dance minor and if I could still complete a minor even if I am not the most advanced dancer?

Good luck with school .... you don’t know it now, but you will look back and say: “Those were the best of times, and never the worst.” That’s how I look back on my school days which were more hours spent working minimum wage jobs than studying. Had to foot the bills, pay the rent. The reason I switched majors to Physics because it was less study time critical, either you got it and could not much improve upon understanding with more study time, or I did not get it, just like most everyone else. But that was back in the slide rule days before the electronic and video study aids. Lucky you .... great resources online.

good grades and test scores will open the door, but what really sells a school is unique qualities! do a research project, work a unique job, start a small charity or community garden or something! They want to see you have leadership qualities and have unique passions :)
