Thank you! In my batch there are many North Indians so that isn’t really an issue. I have noticed quite a few friend groups speaking in local languages like Telugu Kannada Gujarati etc and also a good amount speaking in Hindi. Classes and official stuff is in English. Inside college you should be able to find people who are from north quite easily. Outside college I don’t know how they feel, I haven’t asked (I’m from south). This is with respect to what I have seen in my batch in iiit Bangalore. Have no idea about iiit Hyderabad

For 2024 batch, we were given a date where we had to report on campus physically. I dont remember all the details about which documents were required, you should clarify that by asking the college administration.

I am not very sure if there is/what is the criteria for minimum attendance required to be allowed to write exams (You can contact the college admin and ask I guess). But so far ive seen quite a few professors allot a percentage of the grade based on attendance.

Honestly I have heard of some incidents (but seniors got involved immediately to address the issue), but the college as well as seniors are very serious about safety of all students especially girls. There's an internal complaints committee just for this reason that deals with sexual harassment cases. I would recommend connecting with female seniors from our college and speaking to them as they will be able to give a first hand experience (You can try connecting with seniors on linkedin). I've only been here two months and ofc im a boy so I won't know their experience completely.

For our batch we asked queries on a facebook page they made and on whatsapp group they made but those were like right before admission time (and also on linkedin, quite a few seniors did respond). Since its quite early I dont think any whatsapp group has been made for 2025 batch. What time? The college is quite chill with letting us go out during the day. There are night and early morning curfews but during the day you can pretty much do whatever you want. (There are more details to the curfew thing but if ur going out during the day for church it wont be an issue)

It is a residential college as far as I know but ask the admin. Everyone I have seen stays here and visit their homes once in a while (bangalore peeps). You could ask the admin if they would allow you to do that, I am not very sure sorry
